Frequently Asked Questions
My Insurance Company did not ask me for an appraisal.
Protect your investment! You need to tell your insurance what your vehicle is worth (with an appraisal) and be sure to have an “agreed value” policy.
How often should I have my car appraised?
We recommend a minimum of every 2 years. Some vehicles are appreciating very quickly and it may be wise to appraise your vehicle yearly. We do offer a discount for a re-appraisal.
Do I need an appraisal to get a loan on a collector vehicle? Sometimes. Banks, credit unions and individual lenders may require an independent appraisal to establish the true market value of the vehicle you are planning to buy.
How much do you charge?
We “tailor” our appraisals to meet the needs of our customers, you may not need a “full” appraisal, so you should not have to pay for a “full” appraisal. Our appraisals start at just $49.
